Children under 5 must be accompanied by an adult and under adult supervision at all times - in and out of water.
Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible guardian over the age of 18.
City of Oak Park reserves the right to close the pool due to inclement weather or other circumstances.

The Oak Park Pool Will Officially Open on 
Saturday, June 10 at 1 p.m.

Join us as we make a splash at the Oak Park Pool for our Grand Opening festivities. There will be a DJ providing music from 2 to 5 p.m. We will hold a raffle for prizes and, of course, the pool will be open to cool you off. Come see some of our new renovations and soak in some sun and fun!

POOL CLOSING DAY

Location: Oak Park Municipal Pool
Come celebrate the unofficial end of summer with the last day the pool will be open to the public.  Help us shut the pool down in style on this very special day.

DOG DAY AT THE POOL
Sunday, August 27, Noon-3 p.m.
Each registered dog receives a gift and a 55-minute dog-only swim session. Must have proof of current vaccinations and a dog license before entry is allowed. For the safety and enjoyment of the dogs, we offer separate swim times for various size dogs. They are:

  • Small Sized Dogs (Under 30 lbs.), Noon to 12:55 p.m.
  • Medium Sized Dogs (30-69 lbs.), 1 to 1:55 p.m.
  • Large Sized Dogs (70 lbs. and Up), 2 to 2:55 p.m. 


Pool Rental is Available
If you have a private party ­– birthday party, wedding shower, bridal shower, or family reunion - and are looking for a unique venue, consider renting the Oak Park Pool. It’s sure to be a welcome splash! For more information on pool rental and to make your reservations, call the Recreation Department at (248) 691-7555.

Rental Fees:
Up to 75 people:
$350 Resident/$400 Non-Resident for three hours
76 to 100 people:
$400 Resident/$450 Non-Resident for three hours
101 to 200:
$450 Resident/$500 Non-Resident for three hours
201 to 400:
$500 Resident/$550 Non-Resident for three hours

Additional party hours, if available, are $160 per hour.
A $75.00 deposit is required on all pool rentals.
All pool rentals MUST be paid in full on the booking date to reserve the date and time.
