A Focus on Regionalism and Quality of Life in Southeast Michigan

Welcome to another edition of “Meeting with the Manager” with host Oak Park City Manager Erik Tungate. This month we are proud to host Detroit City Council Member Scott Benson who shares his thoughts on the impact of regionalism and its effect on quality of life in Southeast Michigan. Council Member Benson is an Urban Planner by trade with 18 years of experience in commercial real estate, municipal planning, and community and economic development. He served 25 years in the United States Coast Guard. My second guest on this edition is Oak Park Director of Economic Development and Communications Kimberly Marrone who discusses the launch of the updated Master Plan and the Kick-Off of the Sherman Summer Pop-Up Park.
